Lineart done traditionally, colours done in gimp (duh).
I'm pretty confident (*said very carefully*) that I finally (*said very slowly*) understand how to draw in this anime manga style, and without copying too.
Also, only now I found out that Gimp has a colour wheel... 
Ehhhh, better late than never I guess? Though I still don't really understand colour theory, so you can see that shading here isn't quite the thing.

Well now I know- draw with them. Let me explain. Turns out pigma microns are very delicate tools that really don't like to be used in any other ways than hold perfectly vertical and with a surgically precise pressure. Long story short, they more or less broke. The line looks nice only in the beginning gets shaky and thinner as it goes on, and ink later stops flowing making a half visible mess that looks worse than a sketch. I don't have the patience to do every line super slow and carefully, that's annoying af. Microns, go screw yourself, I don't give shit about a tool that's fastidious like a damn spoiled princess. Unipins work perfectly and I was doing much harsher things with them, and for a longer period of time too.
